Regain is committed to building healthy relationships with the communities where it operates, by being proactive in communications with key stakeholders and aligning itself with clients who share the same values.

Over the past three years Regain has successfully recycled more than 40,000 tonnes of carbon and refractory materials from aluminium smelters in the Hunter (Hydro Aluminium Kurri Kurri and Tomago Aluminium), for use in the manufacture of new products such as fuel for manufacture of cement and minerals, which are in turn used in the making of bricks.

Both Hydro and Tomago Aluminium have made a pro-active commitment to their local Hunter communities, as a responsible industrial, a major employer and a supporter of community activities. It is a key reason why Regain is so proud to work closely with the companies.
